First Year Advising is a team of professional academic advisors from a variety of diverse backgrounds. We use teaching, advising, and advocacy to empower new students to pursue their continued development at TOSI University.

Our team provides holistic 1:1 academic advising for first-year students, emphasizing student learning and engagement both inside and outside of the classroom. Advisors also teach their advisees in a weekly TU webinar course during the first month of the Spring & Autumn Semesters. This allows students to have consistency through their first semester and offers opportunities to connect with their advisor in class.
