POSITION SUMMARY:
The Research Intern will work on multiple research projects focused on the involvement of stakeholders in trauma remodeling care, compression therapies, BAA modalities, surgical standards of care, and industry nutrition. The Research Intern will support the Mediscope team by working closely with a Principle Investigator, Senior Research Coordinator, and Research Project Manager to complete administrative and study-related tasks.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Update and maintain study documentation (e.g. protocol logs and study trackers)
- Conduct literature and scoping reviews
- Collect data through Capstone submissions
- Collaborate with experts and engage in the research process to advance knowledge within the Body Altering Aesthetics domain
- Assist with data management and preparation of manuscripts/presentations
- Assist with IRB protocol development and submission
- Assist with the development of qualitative codebooks, code qualitative transcripts, and identify emerging themes

The Research Writer Intern (RW) reports to the Content Manager, SEO Manager, & the Internship Coordinator. The mission of the RW is to research, write, & optimize content for various platforms to:

About the Role:
This role is a content editing position but for the purposes of expanding media relations; sharing TOSI University through awareness and outreach initiatives using previously recorded visual media. We’re looking for content editors to curate and transform moving media content into short, impactful clips, crafting engaging narratives for sharing across various social platforms. This will be done with time stamps and editing software such as Video Leap, iMovie, and/or Adobe Premiere. Our content editors will also be responsible for managing a comprehensive database of videos within Dropbox, ensuring efficient organization and facilitating the seamless repurposing of content. Editors ensure shared educational and informational content is high quality. Edits needed for academic content may include reorganizing information, adding or streamlining content, fact collecting, and more.
As a Content Editor, you will:
- Independently choose work from a pool of available academic content
- Curate content to be repurposed on educational platforms such as Udemy & YouTube
- Fact collect and edit visual long content for shorts, reels, and playlists
- Articulate what edits you made on each piece of content
- As you comb through the content, extract facts and add them to a collection sheet for internal research initiatives and press releases

TOSI University Mediscope is seeking a publicist intern. You’ll be a key link between our clients, stakeholders, the public, and healthcare departments– helping circulate awareness of our resources and benefits. Interns will also gain experience working with high end corporate sponsors and medical partners. You’ll get hands-on experience managing public relations, organizing events, and creating press releases about TOSI University & Mediscope Affiliates.
Publicist interns will coordinate with Media Relations interns, manage and circulate publicity for TOSI University & Mediscope Affiliates, share and repost articles and blogs, and more. Publicists will plug and connect the following materials:
- Speeches

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create effective communication plans for content and projects
- Pitch stories and ideas to media outlets on behalf of TOSI University & Mediscope Affiliates (may be via phone, in-person, or email)
- Build and maintain successful relationships with the media and other outlets
- Arrange publicity opportunities such as speaking engagements, appearances and interviews
- Draft talking points for the TOSI University Representative and help them prepare for interviews
- Manage day to day relations with Mediscope media and other platforms
- Promote TOSI University and affiliates in a successful manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
